The program to recalculate the bibliog. numbering is written
and now can be run, or rather, re-run, at your leisure. 

Anyhow, I added "\t|" (tab, verticle bar) as the separator for
name and title, and "||" (two verticle bars) as the separator
for title and imprint.

This represents the sum total of "database" fielding that I
was hoping to add without adding unnecessarily to the filesize
or, hopefully, your inputting.

I added at the end of each record an incremental counter so 
that you can see how many records there are and it may help 
you to keep track of things while you're cutting and pasting 
new things in. This will be recalculated next time I run 
the program, there is no need to maintain it.

There were 8 ESTC numbers with 5 digits.

Number 408.3e was encoded [408.3]e - which bugged the output a little, 
but I found the error while checking the output.

I converted " S "  and  " S, "  with " … " - so you can
change it back (it is an ISO entity, as used in HTML, SGML, etc.)
